Forest Bathing/Walking Meditation Experience

You do not have to have access to a forest to connect with nature and get the benefits of spending time in it! You will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the sounds, smells, and scenery around you. We will be discussing how to incorporate walking meditation and nature into your life. A brief grounding meditation will be used to open the practice with some tips for getting the most out of your experience. We will stay together as we walk with some time to explore on our own. You are encouraged to bring a journal to reflect on your experience. Please be mindful of the weather and dress in layers, wear appropriate footwear and consider sunscreen and/or bug spray when appropriate. In the event of inclement weather an alternative day will be provided. Optional: water bottle, bug spray, sunscreen.
